Roswell Beacon's
White Fright
by JD Nutt, IG Web-Editor
Report last updated on May 21st, 2008 - Oklahoma City, OK.
Alan Sverdlik, a freelance journalist said he was curious how law enforcement agencies were handling the increased number of threats lodged against Barack Obama by white supremacist groups, some of whom are based around north Fulton, Georgia.  So he wrote a story.
Sverdlik surely had no idea of the stir he had created. Sverdlik stated he had not seen the Beacon's cover and had no input in its development.
The Beacon's publisher, John Fredericks stated, "The art projected the story, which serves a valuable public interest: We're hoping federal law enforcement takes notice."
So far however, the content inside has been overlooked by the uproar of the cover page. Read the Roswell Beacon Report
